Europe's Day!

 El pasado lunes celebramos en Secundaria el día de Europa (09 de mayo) e hicimos unas actividades muy interesantes con el alumnado. En primer lugar vimos un powerpoint titulado " Europe in a Nutshell"  y después en grupos de 3 personas realizaron un juego "name and draw five".

El alumnado estuvo atento a la información y la dinámica salió muy bien en todas las aulas.

Welcome Back to School!

Bienvenidos de nuevo al cole! Estábamos deseando volver!!!

En nuestras clases de inglés en ESO hemos estado practicando con el alumnado este juego de Figure me Out en el que tienen que adivinar cada número a qué se refiere, puede ser una edad, día del mes, número de hermanos....

Por otro lado estamos recordando / repasando con ellos vocabulario y gramática vista en cursos anteriores con una ficha en la que tienen que contarnos 5 cosas que hacen en su tiempo libre, 4 recuerdos de los últimos 6 meses, etc...

Esperamos que disfruten de este curso 2020/2021 que sin duda y por muchos motivos, será especial.

Vocabulary Unit 4

El alumnado de 1º, 3º y 4º de ESO ha trabajado el vocabulario de la unidad 4 con un proyecto.

En el caso de 1º de ESO han diseñado un personaje con cartón reciclado, vistiéndolo y atribuyéndole cualidades personales para repasar el vocabulario ( clothes and adjectives of character)

El alumnado de 3º de ESO ha trabajado los diferentes acontecimientos de la vida, lo han representado  de varias formas, algunos han diseñado un camino, otros un álbum de recuerdos, un "libro de la vida"....

Por último en los cursos de 4º de ESO hemos trabajado los phrasal verbs relacionados con relaciones personales, estos son algunos de sus trabajos

Obra de Teatro " The Picture of Dorian Grey"

Un grupo de alumnos y alumnas de 3º y 4º de ESO asistió el pasado martes a la obra de teatro "The Picture of Dorian Grey" la cual fue muy interesante.

 Antes de realizar esta excursión, las profesoras de prácticas que han estado con nosotras durante dos semanas, nos explicaron la obra y los personajes principales desde un punto de vista más dinámico. Vimos un video sobre un resumen de la obra y después realizamos un juego por grupos para adivinar con ciertas pistas los diferentes personajes.

Saint Valentine's Day

El alumnado de 3º y 4º de ESO ya ha empezado a celebrar el día de San Valentín. Para comenzar visualizamos un video en el que recordamos un poco la historia de este Santo y los símbolos típicos de la celebración.

Después, en los grupos cooperativos hemos trabajado con un Reading en el que los alumnos tras ordenar los párrafos y ponerle un título han realizado un pequeño Quiz de comprensión lectora.

Por último hemos formado palabras con una ruleta de Letras en la que tenían que encontrar la palabra VALENTIN.

Esperamos que les haya gustado esta forma de trabajar la festividad desde el aprendizaje cooperativo

Celebramos el día Europeo de las Lenguas

Hoy día 26 de septiembre de 2019, hemos celebrado en nuestro centro el día Europeo de las Lenguas. Este día tiene como objetivo animar a las personas a aprender más lenguas a cualquier edad, dentro y fuera de la escuela. La diversidad lingüística es una herramienta que es un elemento clave para una mayor comprensión intercultural, así como el enriquecimiento cultural que el aprendizaje de una lengua te otorga. Os dejamos una pequeña muestra de las actividades realizadas durante este día. 

Saint Patrick's Day 3º ESO A

El lunes realizamos la actividad de Saint Patrick's Day la cual tuvimos que posponer debido a temas de evaluaciones, visualizamos un video corto sobre la historia del patrón de Irlanda y posteriormente repasamos algunas de las palabras del vocabulario típico de la festividad. Realizamos este photocall que resultó ser muy divertido y finalmente lo dejamos de recuerdo en el tablón de la clase.

Saint Valentine's Day

El pasado 14 de Febrero celebramos la festividad de San Valentín, este año hemos querido realizar un proyecto común para toda la etapa de secundaria, cada alumno ha realizado un cubo 3D de colores con un mensaje positivo de cariño, amistad o amor en inglés,  los cubos se unirán para formar una pieza la cual tendrá un valor muy importante para nuestro centro. Dicha pieza se expondrá en nuestra portería en los próximos días.... estad atentos!!

Además, estuvimos practicando el vocabulario típico de esta festividad con el alumnado y en algunas clases visualizamos un video muy cortito y simpático para explicar la historia del Santo al que debemos esta festividad. Os dejamos el video por si queréis verlo otra vez.
